Warranty Conditions

Warranty

Art. 1 Exchanges – Refund
Section a – unused and undamaged items/components, with the exception of customized work, can be exchanged or credited within 10 days of purchase with the original receipt

Section b – For screening a return period of 14 months (January / February) applies, during which Remkaflex can call off the offered stock the 12th up to and including the 14th month. The reference date for the valuation is the economic value per February 1st (14e month). Remkaflex advises yearly – in November at the latest- on the stock inventory based on historic data. The stock keeper is at all times responsible for the marketability of their stock and therefore reports the on the stock offering 11th month in writing.

Section c – Remkaflex advises stock keepers to sell brake and clutch hoses under the right packaging and storage conditions, for 5 years at the latest, see print of date on the hose. In yearly returns as described in section b, hoses over 5 years old will not be reimbursed. These will be destroyed. Remkaflex pledges to not deliver brake/clutch hoses older than 3 years.

Art. 2 Inappropriate uses
If there is, concerning the article to be delivered, a different application or factors which influence the normal durability, or may influence the in the normal performance of the article, this must be announced in writing by the customer in advance.
Symptoms caused by different applications and / or conditions – not previously announced – will not be considered.

Art. 3 Custom-made, client-specific products
Orders for custom-made, client-specific products must at all times be submitted in writing, accompanied by clarifications concerning the application and possible non-standard conditions. When not submitted in writing all warranties are void.

Art. 4 (Re)adjustments
(Re)adjustments of the articles and/or parts supplied by Remkaflex – besides adjustments done by us –void all warranties.

Art. 5 Repairs – Modifications
Loose repairs and/or partial replacement and/or modification of products which do not originate from Remkaflex or whose warranty period, are not guaranteed.

Art. 6 Performance Complaints
If, after purchase, it seems that the item has not been manufactured according to your instructions, you can, under warranty, have your order manufactured again provided that the article is unused, you do this within 10 days with the original receipt. If the article cannot be shown, all warranties are void.

Art. 7 Product Complaints
§ 1.0 Incidental Product Complaints
Warranty requests concerning product complaints, of which can be reasonably assumed that the complaint did not occur as a result of a systematic deviation in performance and/or applied material (to be assessed by Remkaflex), arisen after being commissioned may be submitted:

Lid a – Custom-made, client-specific products: within 2 months

Lid b – Documentation articles: within 2 months after purchase by the end user and at the latest within 12 months after delivery by door Remkaflex

§ 2.0 Serial Product Complaints
Warranty Requests concerning product complaints, of which can be reasonably assumed that the complaint it concerns may have occurred as a result of a systematic deviation in performance and/or applied material (to be assessed by Remkaflex), arisen after being commissioned will, provided it is submitted filed within a reasonable timeframe and not being a consequence of normal wear and tear by, be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

§ 3.0 Determination of origin
Warranty requests concerning implementation and/or product complaints will only be processed upon receipt of the item and the original receipt(s) showing that the guarantee period is not expired.
